My friend Robbie Brown is a Shaman Cow.
Legends say he has the power to come and go through different dimensions as he pleases. They also state that he has the skill to hook any fish without the required bait (he once captured Moby Dick, only to release him shortly after. The two are now great friends. Moby actually sent Robbie some Marmalade for Christmas last year). A highly celebrated skill in the eyes of any beard owner. With his cat like reflexes and heightened sense of smell for fine foods, it’s no wonder he’s managed to walk amongst us mere mortals for centuries.
There’s a blue eyed girl with a red bow tie
and a string of pearls with one good eye
in a rainy town the chimney smoke will curl
no one likes clowns on the other side of the world.
My tough guy friend has a sinister secret. He’s actually a total softy and a puppy enthusiast. He was once brought to a complete halt as we passed a pet shop, a sea of tears poured from his eyes and quenched the undeniable thirst of the dehydrated puppies that dwelled within it’s confines. There makeshift paper beds were a little damp but you could tell from the sparkle in their eyes that they where happy to be at a level of maximum hydration once again.
Their gratitude would again be shown a month later through an unexpected meat hamper and platter of exotic cheeses (a common custom of thanks in puppy circles) sent to his home address. Signed with a golden paw print and a single puppy tear.

My good friend is under the impression that the number 7 is stalking him.
Personally it’s my favourite number and in my opinion you’d have to be a crazy person to resist the affections of such an eligible number. So for his birthday I decided to draw him this sneaky/subtle whale 7, in hopes that each night it’s whale song will gently disarm him into the seductive clutches of number 7. (I estimate it will take 7 days.)
